CommentsCharmaine Tue, 06 Apr 2010 2:02:07 pm In working with youth in a "restorative justice" program I have observed some outstanding changes occur in youth who are held responsible for their negative actions. I have seen them restored to their families, the victims they have harmed as well as the community at large. Some of these young people have become young adult leaders in the community and are sharing their experience with others. How awesome to be a part of a process that respects everyone involved. Without that respect I doubt this kind of approach would succeed without that RESPECT. Leave a Reply |
